Swap tokens on Base

BlazePhoenix swaps tokens on Base, an L2 network, through a Router contract at 0x2a779f9Be49aac57495A8B6467Cc325a8a47Eb9f. The quote is computed on-chain by the Quoter contract and your minimum output is enforced by the Router, so a swap that cannot deliver it reverts.

How a swap on Base works

  1. Open the swap on Base. Open the BlazePhoenix swap and select Base. Connect any wallet; there is no account and no KYC.
  2. Pick the two tokens. Choose the token you pay with and the token you want. 21 tokens are on the curated Base list; any other token can be pasted by contract address.
  3. Read the quote and the Phoenix Check. The Quoter contract computes the quote with previewPlan, an eth_call. The Phoenix Check reviews it with deterministic invariants before you sign.
  4. Set slippage and confirm. Your slippage setting becomes the on-chain minimum output (minOut). The Router reverts the swap if it cannot deliver at least that amount.

Read from the registry the swap itself uses. Check each address on the explorer before you trade.

Protocol version 1.0.0. Full contract set on /verify.

Frequently asked questions

How do I swap tokens on Base?

Open the BlazePhoenix swap, select Base, pick the input and output tokens, review the quote and the Phoenix Check, set your slippage and confirm in your wallet. The slippage you set is enforced on-chain as the minimum output.

Which contracts handle a swap on Base?

The Router at 0x2a779f9Be49aac57495A8B6467Cc325a8a47Eb9f executes the swap and the Quoter at 0x4cEF0615614B212895F45Aa1D4833B16666E18d3 computes the quote (protocol version 1.0.0). Both addresses are linked below to the Base block explorer so you can read the code yourself.

Do I need an account or KYC to swap on Base?

No. The swap is self-custodial: tokens stay in your wallet until the transaction executes on-chain.

Where does the quote come from?

From the Quoter contract, as an eth_call (previewPlan) read through an RPC node. You can set your own RPC in the app, or run the same call yourself with the quote API: it returns the exact call to run on your node and decodes the result.
